I'm looking for a heat pump — which one suits my home?
Aerothermal (air-source heat pump) technology draws heat from the air for heating, hot water and cooling with a single, highly efficient system. The right capacity depends on the floor area, insulation and whether you want just hot water or also climate control and pool heating. For an average home on the Costa Blanca a 6-12 kW heat pump is usually enough. We run a heat-load calculation and recommend the ideal unit, installation included.
I want to heat my swimming pool — what is the best option?
The most efficient way to heat a pool is with a dedicated pool heat pump: for every kW of electricity it consumes it generates 5-6 kW of heat. Combined with solar panels, the cost of heating the water approaches zero. It extends your swimming season by several months — even year-round on the Costa Blanca. We size the pump to your pool volume and whether it is covered, and include the installation.
How much does an aerothermal heat pump cost?
An aerothermal installation for an average home usually costs between €8,000 and €15,000, depending on the capacity, whether it includes underfloor heating or radiators and whether it also covers hot water and the pool. It costs more than a gas boiler but consumes far less (a COP of 4 means 4 kWh of heat per kWh of electricity) and qualifies for subsidies. Powered by solar panels, savings are maximised.
