Subsidies & incentives in the Netherlands
Everything you need to know about ISDE, net metering and tax advantages for your energy system.
Net metering ends January 1, 2027
Currently, all electricity fed back to the grid offsets your consumption. From 2027, net metering ends and you will only receive a feed-in compensation (min. 50% of supply tariff, guaranteed until 2029). A home battery stores your solar surplus so you use it yourself — in the evenings and on cloudy days.
